Denver....like us, has a long way to go before they can think about the SuperBowl. And if we keep playing like we are, then they will have to come through the Chiefs to get there. If we meet them in the playoffs--even in Denver--then I like our chances.

Just as an aside guys....the Superbowl this year unless I am mistaken is in the Meadowlands--an uncovered stadium. And just to make things interesting, the Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting a massive snow storm for that week. The SuperBowl might become the snow bowl.

National Football League team owners took a risk when they voted in 2011 to hold the 48th Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the first dome-less cold-weather site for the event in league history.

However, concerns over the possibility of a disastrous storm on game day may increase with the release of the 2014 Farmers' Almanac. The 197-year-old publication is forecasting a "piercing," "bitterly" and "biting" cold winter.

The almanac has red-flagged the first ten days of February for "possible heavy winter weather." The Super Bowl is scheduled for Feb. 2, 2014.

Here in New England we put a good bit of faith in it. It's far from perfect but it's no worse than the TV weather forecasters and the Almanac is put out a year at a time so doing better than the weather forecasters with all their fancy equipment is pretty impressive.
