The news that wide receiver Julio Jones might miss the rest of the season has led a lot of people to surmise that the Falcons aren’t going anywhere after starting the year with four losses in their first five games. That has led some people to wonder if there might be an opening to trade… Read more…
If this was happening last year I would say jump all over it, Tony G. is at the VERY end of his career and we are winning, thus far, without him. As much as I would love to see him back in KC red I simply don't see the value of giving up another high draft pick for a player who would be hear a little more than half a season.
As much as I respect Tony G.-- Sorry but, no, that chapter has been closed & nfl.com reported that ATL is not interested in trading him.
Eh, 4th round pick or lower i'd jump on it
It wouldnt be a high draft pick. He would upgrade us instantly. I would go for it. If atlanta lose the next two games til trading dead line he may change his mind. But I dont think he thats kinda guy to just leave a team in the middle of season though.
It only be for half a season so it woukd be a 5th or lower pick.

I'd welcome him back for a 6 or 7th. Problem is Atlanta's next two are winnable before the trade deadline.
If this would happen, the irony of it!

The irony indeed. 5th rounder and bring him home. Tony G with what we have going on...Alex smith would have his security blanket and then some. Why wouldn't you want him back he's gonna retire a chief anyway. This might as well be the year. BRING HIM HOME!

Seriously. I've got a jersey with #88 on it that I can't wear out any more. If he were to come back and finish up in KC, at least I wouldn't have to buy a new shirt.
