Right off the bat let me identify the teams I hate. The Donks, Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, and any team from New York.
With that out of my chest, I have to make an observation about the NY Jets Atlanta Falcons Monday Night game. Everyone in our Football pool had picked the Falcons to beat the Jets. Everyone except one that is. This ONE dude is new to Football and really does not know what he's talking about.
So how did the hated Jets beat the Falcons? It's because they played in the Twilight Zone!
What's the first clue about this, you ask? try this:
Each starting quarterback bore the opposing head coach's last name!!!!!.... (Twilight Zone music...)
Discuss....
Falcons Defense has gone down the drain this season & they can't defend against anyone.
Further evidence... every good team is bad and every bad team is good (except Denver and Jax)

I'm having a "Homer Moment".........
The NFL knew we had some GREAT players on defense....or anyway the Probowl seemed to suggest that. Yet we got blown out a lot of times last year.
We went from one "game manager" to another....or so say many.
What is the big difference? It's not Eric Fisher. Nor JC or DB. None of them have been mind-blowing stars this year.
Look at who is making the key plays. Somebody different almost every week. Many of them pickups from the waiver wire or draft picks that many had called "busts".
So what is the big difference from last year?
ANDY REID and the coaching staff he got to come here. He is getting WAY MORE out of the players we have than any Chiefs coach in a LOOOOONG time. What is perhaps most encouraging is that the area that Reid is supposed to be a specialist in--OFFENSE--is where we seem to be weakest. Imagine if Reid makes our offense as good as many of his teams have been.....Who could beat that team?
So, is it only me who found Smiths and Ryans cross-opposing each other interesting?

Interesting, but I've never been much into those sorts of things. They are usually beyond my comprehension.
