We keep hearing the analysis above all over the tube. Also in this article: http://milehighsports.com/2013/11/13...at-the-chiefs/
It's all well and good, but it's all moot when,
1- Tamba Hali is held numerous times during the game and the officials ignore them.
2- Our physical DBs are flagged on every other tight coverage of Denver receivers.
3- Our monster rushers are flagged for bad breath or other excuses for "roughing the passer" every time they are near Peyton.
4- (fill the blank)
^^ You make valid points & that is my biggest fear of what may transpire in this game. Home cooking by the officials.
4. The Donks WR's getting away with illegal pushoffs & pick plays.
Good one for #4. tried to add it to the OP but it doesn't let me edit anymore. :)
5. (Fill in the blank folks)
Broncos win - Those are the reasons why
Chiefs win - Manning was hurt, John Fox better coach than Del Rio, Miller needs time to gel, refs screwed up
got it, won't matter tho, neither teams fans will say "it was a good game and TEAM A got out played by TEAM B"
Some truth to your post doobs, but Denver Mannings do tend to get the officials benefit of the doubt a bit more than some other teams. I can't completely dismiss that the NFL would just LOVE a Peyton Manning Super Bowl and might look away here and there to get it..
Here's an assignment foe all of you:
Let's put this theory to test. Try to keep track and mark the time of the officials calls and no-calls that fit the OP description.
And to be fair let's point them out if they go unfairly against the Donks too.
Have your paper and pencils ready boys and girls.
By watching the game live I have to admit there weren't many blatant calls.
