At at least Hali won't be out as long as we thought when the injury happened

Its not his shoulder, it's his elbow. Second, it was a subluxation, not a dislocation, which means most of the ligaments are probably intact to some degree. Mccluster's dislocated his elbow last year in the Saints game (remember when he "fumbled" the ball) and was back the next week with a brace on. Houston could do the same, but he will likely only be in on passing downs. You have to put a lot of force through your elbow when tackling and shedding pulling guards and tackles.
The key is whether there were complete tears of ligaments or broken bones. I believe either one of those will mean surgery, and likely the season. He may be able to play with a brace through the pain. Most likely he doesn't have any broken bones, or that would have shown up on the XRay done at the stadium. The "swelling" that is preventing the MRI is likely keeping him from moving his elbow to put it in the correct position to do an MRI. Time will tell how long he will be out.

Anybody got the latest on Hali and Houston? Lots of speculation, but has anybody got anything solid?
