I don't mean to be crude, but if he blew his brains out what's there to examine? Especially after a year under ground.

The exam is a microscopic, so, theoretically, there may be some brain tissue that is preserved enough to see the evidence of scarring (which is what they are looking for). Unfortunately, this will probably not result in any conclusive evidence.

I shouldn't have introduced politics by using the word "liberal" but anybody who is realistic knows that there are elements in our society that would like to ban football, ban winning and losing and impose "societal norms".

Some people think that "losing" is bad for a person's self esteem. I say BS. I've done a LOT of losing in my life. I've been a manager for 2 businesses that have failed and owned 2 businesses that have failed. They all HURT! But I have learned from those experiences and have grown more determined than ever to succeed. Losing is good for the soul. It makes you tougher and more determined. Take away the hard lessons learned by losing and you quickly have a nation of thumb-suckers.

I agree entirely with what you say, ct, but it is foolish and ignorant (and I dont mean that in an insulting way) to say that has anything to do with liberals as it has more to do with society as a whole. I say this as a somewhat left leaning moderate who hates the idea of everyone getting a trophy for participation.

I agree there are elements that would like to ban sports, but to me they are such a minority that people hardly ever hear them speaking and take them for extremists.

Again....I regret my use of the word "liberal". This is no place for me to be spouting my libertarian politics. I trust you'll forgive my faux pas.
