Defensive players routinely complain that big, physical receivers like Gonzalez get away with offensive pass interference. Gonzalez admitted to ESPN.com that pushing off… Read more…

I wonder if Dorsey gives him a call this offseason to kick the tires. I'm sure he will want to AT LEAST retire as a Chief, whether or not he actually plays again.

Good point. I remember talking to a fellow Chiefs fan who felt slighted that Montana went back to San Fran to retire a 49er, but I understood why because he spent the majority of his career there, that's the team he played for when they won those Super Bowls. I would hope that Tony G. would do the same in Kansas City.

I cannot think he is sour against the chiefs being that he came out publicly about being ok with a trade over here this season so I'm wondering why he's not signing that 1 day at least to come back home before he hangs up the cleats. He did retire already right? Possible to come out of retirement to just re-retire?

No expert, but I *think* that since his contract this year was only for 1 year then that means that he is a Free Agent and would be free to come out of retirement for a 1 day contract. That said, the Falcons might have some sort of right of first refusal. Hopefully someone that knows the NFL rules better than I can clarify this.
