The Chiefs selected Eric Fisher with the first overall pick in last year’s draft and then installed him at right tackle after attempts to trade left tackle Branden Albert led nowhere. Fisher, who played left tackle at Central Michigan, struggled early in the year and dealt with injuries, although his work improved as the season… Read more…

+1. Follow Dontari Poe in the weight room and do whatever HE does!!

Fisher got better as the season went on. It'll be interesting to see him come back next preseason, with an offseason to work on his technique & weight training.

I saw a report early in the season that one thing Poe did was to quit eating BBQ. That sounds... horrifying.

Small conference in college, played a different position this year, and was battling nagging injuries all season. I think we gotta give the kid a year to get up to speed. I am certainly anxious about him taking over LT this season. But 2 things have me cautiously optimistic 1 - he did get better as the year went on, and 2 - He has great character, I fully believe he will give everything he has to get better and lock the position down. (lets just hope its enough ha)
    GO CHIEFS!!!

Quoted for truth. Given what happened to QB's from the 2013 draft, do not regret drafting Fisher at all.
