If the Chiefs are, as they seem to be, upset by the alleged failure of agent Steve Weinberg to honor an agreement in principle for receiver Emmanuel Sanders, the Chiefs can do something other than complain about it. While the agreement isn’t binding until it’s in writing, all parties to the Collective Bargaining Agreement have…

I wonder if Tampa can to. The D bags pissed them off to

Forget Sanders. If his heart wasn't in KC, and completely in his wallet instead, then he isn't worth having and the Chiefs have a chance to draft somebody better, anyways.
I agree. I think the Chiefs dodged a bullet here. I wouldn't want a guy on my team who make a verbal commitment and then not honor it. If that is really what happened, then Sanders revealed his true character by signing with the Broncos and we don't need that kind of guy in our locker room.
Besides, I have concerns about the health of a guy with screws in both his feet. I mean ... you run on your feet! Do we really need to pay a guy like that $5 million per year when our offense was clicking on all cylinders last year and we have so many needs on defense?

Unless the Chiefs (and/or Bucs) can get something out of it, not sure it's worth filing the grievance over.
Quite frankly, I'm kind of surprised the Chiefs haven't turned their attention towards one of Reid's former draftees -- Safety Nate Allen. He might be able to compete for FS or at least be a seasoned backup to Berry and probably could be brought in at a decent cost. Philly has become a graveyard for a lot of DB's as of late. It's not that Allen doesn't have some talent & maybe a change of scenery and a migration to KC might do for him what moving from Philly to the Donkeys did for DRC. To me, it would be little risk, possible high reward.
^^Scratch that. Nate Allen resigned with the Eagles.

Not so sure I would want Reid bringing in the guys he previously drafted. The team he built personally and then in turn coached, didn't do so hot. Why would you want him to bring the same here? I trust Dorsey to bring in the talent and Reid to make it work!
Chiefs free agency titan F ..and were supposed to be trying to win?? Not just as usual fill some seats that's all
