    Default 2014 draft wish list

My wishlist and not in any particular order or round:

A 3-4 DE that can attack the QB.
A 3-4 OLB that can both cover receivers and rush the passer
A WR that can become a go-to guy
A CB that can add depth in case right away in case of injury & play right away in sub-packages
A Safety that can add depth
A O-Lineman to add depth and eventually push for a starting job.

That's 6 players filling the 6 draft picks the Chiefs have assuming there are no trades.

    Post your wishlist here.

It seems there is a division about whether to go Offense or Defense with the top draft pick. Personally, I believe there is an equal need for an ace WR as well as a 3-4 DE that can attack the QB.

Safety is a need, but not in round 1 if the scouts have done their job. Safety is the easiest position on Defense to fill in the draft and I'm not sold on Pryor or Clinton-Dix. The Chiefs need somebody at FS that is faster than they are, and Alabama DB's haven't panned out as of late ( see Menzie and Arenas and at least 3 others for other teams that I can think of ).

So that would narrow down to Beckham, Lee, or Cooks at WR if they go Offense or Hageman or Tuitt if they go Defense with the top draft pick. With that said, nobody should rule out an O-Lineman because Dorsey/Reid do value these guys & don't let the FA losses fool you because they would have kept Schwartz, if they could have afforded him.

What if Bridgewater is sitting there when the Chiefs pick? hmm

Well, if that happens and the Chiefs take him, I don't believe Alex will get an extension. But, that would be a HUGE mistake to me.

LOL, we were mentioning Johnny Manziel earlier in this thread. He had his pro day workout & unlike any other QB pro day workout, I have to say Manziel showed some balls by conducting his workout with wearing helmut and shoulder pads while throwing the ball for the pro scouts. Can't deny that Manziel does have guts and swagger.
