    Chiefs Win Ninth Consecutive Game vs. Oakland: The Chiefs became the first franchise to register nine consecutive wins over Oakland. The Chiefs also handed the Raiders their 17 straight loss against an AFC West foe. Kansas City has now won four of its last five games after starting the 2007 season at 0-2.
    Scoring Defense: Dating back to ’90, the Chiefs are 18-1 (.947) when holding the Raiders to 21 points or less. The Chiefs have held all seven of their opponents to 20 points or less in 2007 and have held 14 of their last 16 foes under that mark dating back to last season. Kansas City pitched a first-half shutout for the first time this season. The Chiefs defense pitched a first-quarter shutout for the third time this season, marking the ninth time in 23 games under Herm Edwards that the club has accomplished that feat.

    Another Halftime Lead: The Chiefs held a halftime lead for a second consecutive game. The Chiefs now own a 9-1 record when holding a halftime lead under Herm Edwards.

    Takeaway Stats: The Chiefs own an 8-2 record under head coach Herm Edwards with a positive turnover differential. S Jarrad Page has registered an INT in each of his last three games against the Raiders. Four of Page’s five career INTs have come against Oakland. Jon McGraw recovered a fumbled punt, his first special teams fumble recovery as a member of the Chiefs.

    Rushing Defense: The Chiefs held Oakland to 55 team rushing yards, the lowest total the club has permitted since giving up 38 vs. Denver (11/23/06).

    Goin’ Gonzo: TE Tony Gonzalez extended his franchise-record streak of consecutive games with a reception to 106 contests, the second-longest streak compiled by a TE in NFL history.

    Allen’s Sack Attack: DE Jared Allen registered his ninth career multi-sack game. He now has 8.0 sacks on the season and 35.5 for his career, moving him into seventh in Chiefs history ahead of DE Wilbur Young (35.0).

    Johnson’s Day: RB Larry Johnson scored his second rushing TD of the season on a one-yard run. Johnson has scored the Chiefs last 35 rushing TDs, extending his NFL record for the most rushing TDs by the same player for the same team in NFL history. Johnson now has 49 rushing TDs as a member of the Chiefs. Johnson has 27 career 100-yard rushing games, the highest total in franchise history. Johnson has registered a 100-yard game in three of his last four contests. Johnson registered a career-long 54-yard carry in the third quarter. His previous long was a 49-yard TD run vs. Cincinnati (1/1/06). The Chiefs are 21-6 (.778) when RB Larry Johnson boasts a 100-yard game, including a 5-0 mark vs. the Raiders.
