    Default Chiefs Salary by position

Guys on the local radio were talking to Adam Teicher today.

Based on the NFL Average the Chiefs salary cap this year is right on average for the NFL in every position except for Offensive Line where the Chiefs Average 12 millon and league average is 21 Million.

League average for WR is 9 millions and the chiefs are spending 12 million.

So most people are wanting us to draft WR with our first after this is the highest cap hit for the Chiefs. Are you all willing to cut ties with Bowe if we draft a WR. Either this year or next to balance out the Cap.

I think they overpaid Bowe, as well. Problem was they were kind of over a barrell on that one with Vincent Jackson and Mike Wallace getting 10+ mill a year contracts, plus the Chiefs not having any WR's other than Bowe to speak of and I believe they suspected Baldwin was not going to cut it.

I am pretty sure the Raiders have made more than one trade over the years while also paying Cash to the trading team to compensate the Salary. The Cap hit would be transferred to the new team.

Speaking of Mr.Bowe he got his drug charge dropped so there shouldn't be a suspension for him

I believe Baldwin is still counting toward our cap space as dead money, but I think that was because of his signing bonus that got prorated through the years of his rookie contract.
