Notes: The NFL has reduced the amount of time to make each pick in the first round from 15 minutes to 10.
This year, the prospective draftees are permitted to select their own "Walk up" music. That should be interesting!

The Houston Texans are on the clock.

I think it had more to do with he wasn't that good at rushing the passer then him not being asked to. If he were good at it then there's no doubt he would have been asked to do it. Why wouldn't they want more pressure on the QB. He wasn't asked to because he just wasn't good at it

Another WR isn't going to make Alex any better. They're happy with Bowe, Kelce, Fasano, and the rest behind them. I don't understand the love for another WR that will catch 45 passes.

Off the top of my head I can't even remember who our 4th starting linebacker is. Houston, Hali Johnson and ?. He's got to be an upgrade over question mark.

Most of the time we aren't in a traditional 3-4 set anyway. We are either playing a nickel package or blitzing a LB (or Berry) to give a 4-3 look. He makes our front 7 better than it was yesterday. And the pass rush is the key to our defense.

We had bigger needs. Our secondary was killed by top tier teams and our best receiver was Donnie Avery. Enough said.

It's too bad we don't have 5 more picks in the draft...You don't draft for need. You take players that are good.

A big part of that was because Hali and Huston were out and we were not getting pressure on the QB.

I DID do research. I checked NFL.com and they list him as a DE!

Another WR who is better than a bunch of backups would make Smith better...thats an absolutely ridiculous claim. If you have people that drop a crap ton of passes another WR who can catch wouldnt make our QB better? Or maybe would allow our top tier running back to play a few more years because he wouldnt have to be the top running back and top wide receiver.
