Notes: The NFL has reduced the amount of time to make each pick in the first round from 15 minutes to 10.
This year, the prospective draftees are permitted to select their own "Walk up" music. That should be interesting!

The Houston Texans are on the clock.

I dont like the Chiefs pick at all. Need WR and OL most, now we dont have a 2nd rounder to get a WR. Chiefs have been pissing me off royally since Nov 17 of last year.

It's called the win column, perhaps you've heard of it?

The draft isn't over, many times there are diamonds in the rough in the later rounds.

Agreed. I stand by my opinion, which i understand is just that - an opinion just like everyone else. I dont mind adding depth at OLB but you DO NOT take depth players in the 1st round unless you are a super bowl contender and have the luxury to take the actual BPA...you take the BPA that will start and that would have been any WR or OL that was still left. We are not the Patriots, Broncos, or Seahawks and cannot take the actual BPA, we still have holes and we need to take the BPA that will start, not purely the BPA.

I will never turn my back on the Chiefs, and I will support Dee Ford, just like every other Chiefs player. I just wish we would have helped out our offense and more so Charles and not have to run 35% of the offense through 1 player...he is too good to run him to death and lose out on another 2-4 years because we overuse him.

With that said...welcome to the family Dee Ford, and lets get behind Dorsey and Reid and hope they find us some gems in the later rounds...not having a 2nd rounder is killing us this year, but lets hope the brass can find us some gems.

I don't see that happening. Derrick Johnson is our leading tackler. But with Houston on one side and Ford on the other, and Hali, Poe and Berry coming inside. we will be tough to block.

Andy Reid said that report regarding Hali was false.

At Ford's Pro day at Auburn, he ran a 4.5, benched pressed 29 times, did a 10 ft broad jump, a 35-inch vertical jump.

BTW, he sacked opposing QB's nearly a dozen times during the college season and had a couple sacks in the Senior Bowl as well.

Here is some bio of him on this web page that has a few vids of him.

DT was suppose to be a one trick pony, time will tell, but this is a new Chief!
