Notes: The NFL has reduced the amount of time to make each pick in the first round from 15 minutes to 10.
This year, the prospective draftees are permitted to select their own "Walk up" music. That should be interesting!

The Houston Texans are on the clock.

If anything, this pick was made to motivate Bray and in case they can't work out a deal with Alex.
Murray threw more then twice as many tds then Stanzi did. Murray was on a team that had the offense carrying the team. And Stanzi didn't have to get through Alabama like Murray did

I was hoping Abbrederis was going to slip to us in the6th. GB just grabbed him. Damn.

All that means nothing. It's what happens in KC that counts and Murray is arriving as damaged goods. This isn't the same scenario as Joe Montana falling to the 49ers with the last pick of the 3rd round, not by a longshot.

And that right there is why I didn't like the selection of Murray. Murray will do nothing for the Chiefs except hold a clipboard and he's not going to beat Bray out. Abbrederis will probably be a solid WR by year 2 up in GB instead of with KC.

I will just agree to disagree on this one bud

Murray IMO has far more upside then Bray. They both played in the SEC in college and Murray did better. Have a little faith bud. I'm not one that gets real excited about many qbs in the draft Murray is one that I do like a lot

Those of you who don't like the QB selections, y'all better get used to them. Drafting QBs on a regular basis is the M.O. of John Dorsey and Andy Reid. The Chiefs are no longer going to be one of those teams in desperate need of a QB year in and year out.

Murray had a better team surrounding him than Bray did. Bray's performance in last years pre-season final was the best pre-season performance that I've ever seen from a Chiefs rookie QB and it's not even close. Murray doesn't have a pro-type arm, but Bray does & he's 5 inches taller and can see the field better and he won't get as many passes swatted down as Murray will.

I wouldn't have cared if they had a full stock of draft picks or more, but a 2nd rounder was already traded away for a QB. Picking a QB could have waited until next year.

For those who are upset that we didn't draft a WR, Thomas may be the slot WR to replace McCluster. The question is who is going to start across from Bowe. My money is on Jenkins and maybe Kyle Williams (if he can comeback from the knee injury) becoming a solid number 2.

Went with a team need with G. Zach Fulton in our first pick of the sixth round.
