Notes: The NFL has reduced the amount of time to make each pick in the first round from 15 minutes to 10.
This year, the prospective draftees are permitted to select their own "Walk up" music. That should be interesting!

The Houston Texans are on the clock.

    I detect sarcasm.
I remember a 38 point lead all too well. It was the defense that lost us that playoff game. The offense is not our weakest link.

Yep well there are 2 different styles that play defense in the NFL and one is a 4-3 and one is a 3-4. A DE in a 4-3 is more likely to play an OLB in a 3-4. Example Mario Williams, Clay Mathews, our own Tamba...they played 4-3 DE and then 3-4 OLB. There is some research for you

I hope you guys are right and I'm sure the chief brass know a lot more then I do. I hope we can plug all the holes in the ladder rounds. We need a wr and secondary help.

Another thing.......Denver was mocked occasionally as picking Ford. Why? Von Miller may not be with them after this season. Denver picked up his 5th. year option, but they don't have to exercise it until 2015.

I covered that in my previous post. Watch the games and see how much we are in a pure 3-4 defensive set.

Not that impressive. I was mad at first but I didnt want either lee or benjamin. If we was smart we would trade hali for 2nd round now. If we can.

Agreed, and a good pass rush does just that.

All the 1st round safeties. Teams sure seem to value them highly. Two years in a row for the 49ers!
