De’Anthony Thomas made a lot of big plays for Oregon and he’ll be trying to keep that up in the NFL after being selected in the fourth round by the Chiefs. Before Thomas can break anything open, though, he needs to have a signed contract. He and the Chiefs have taken care of that with…

Four down and two more to go.

Let's get Murray and Ford signed ASAP and get on with the 2014 season preparation.

YUP! Get these guys signed so Dorsey can start figuring out what he is going to do with all the "extra" picks he will have in the 2015 draft.

Make or break. The 2015 draft will decide Dorsey's future and our Chiefs future. Get this years picks signed and start working on the 2015 draft.

Which draft was it, that we got like 4 starters in it, I think it was Woods, Tongue, Browning and Edwards back in the late 90's. If we can draft well like that with the amount of picks we'll have, things are looking up

I think it has a lot more to do with the rookie wage scale than anything else. The rookies have very little room to negotiate, so they aren't. There are some teams that have everyone signed already. I'm a fan of Dorsey, but I don't think we can praise him for this.

That was 1996. Probably Carl Peterson's best draft. Joe Horn came in the 5th round of that draft and Chiefs should not have let him go to N.O.

True to an extent, but as we have seen, some rookies still make it a big hassle. Even though it's a fairly simple part of his job, Dorsey is still getting it done and I've never seen anything wrong with praising someone for simply doing his job.

This is true. But if King Carl was still around, he'd still figure out a way to drag it out.

OROY candidate. Might only get 4-5 touches a game but will average a TD every other game
