I'm not very good with the intricacies of tie-breakers. So here is the question.

I know that the first tie-breaker is head to head competition. But does that just apply to head to head W/L record or does it also apply to points scored? In other words, if we beat the donks by 8 or more points on November 30 and wound up with the same record at the end of the regular season, would we then hold the first tie-breaker?

I'd think the difference maker would be the w/l within the division.

Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Strength of victory.
Strength of schedule.
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best net points in common games.
Best net points in all games.
Best net touchdowns in all games.
