    Default Release parker!

Why is no one talking about him? He's killing us with his inept play. Notice how they target him every game?

We have noticed and have talked about him. We need to move him to safety permanently. He was gopd at safety and sucks at cb. We need flemming back from injury. I do t know how we are ranked 1st in pass def with only 1 good cb in smith.

Release him? Seriously? Because we have soooo many good CBs behind him. Because he doesn't serve a role as a backup safety in case Berry or Abdullah get hurt? He is our best option, unless you want Cooper, Owens, Gaines to start? All of them would do just as bad if not worse. Hopefully Fleming can get healthy and can go back to CB and Parker can play more in as a nickel safety.

Parker was in position in most plays (except the final TD), but he made some bad choices to go for the big play instead of just the tackle.

Of course they are going to target him. The Offense is always going to target the weakest Position on defense.

I realize this is your first post, but we have been talking about this for over a week now.

Smith isn't all that great either imo. Thankfully we have a decent pass rush. I want to see more from Phillip Gaines.

Parker played VERY IMPORTANT roles in both the Bills and Seachickens wins. UNDENIABLE. Also undeniable that that 3rd down PI cost us the game. But if you'll watch the replay that is here on the board, you will see that the call should have been OFFENSIVE PI. Parker wants to be a hero and somebody needs to slap him silly and tell him to forget the hero stuff. That's been said during In Game Threads for the last 2 weeks.

Release him???? That would be INSANITY. We have NOBODY better.

We'll be seeing Parker for many years to come. Not because he is a superstar but because once he gets the hero notions slapped out of his head he will prove to be a pretty damned good safety. Cornerback???? Well....he should fill in there when we are desperate.

As an undrafted free agent discarded by two teams, I have no problem with Parkers play (out of position I might add). Look for the CB position to be fixed in upcoming draft.

Lets all be honest, when it comes to CB, right now we are desperate.

Exactly. Parker will do good work at safety for us for several years. HOPEFULLY this will be the last year we see him at CB.

With Berry being out the rest of the season, it sounds like Parker will be our SS for at least the rest of this year.

Given the options I am OK with Parker at safety for the rest of the season and maybe beyond. Just need to tell him to give up on the hero stuff.
