    Bleacher Report says Chiefs are going to cut Donnie Avery and will save 3.4 million in cap space. Going to target WR in the combine this week

    Not really a surprise Jenkins will also most likely be gone as well I would think

    Agreed. It's not like Reid hasn't been patient with these guys. My guess is that Reid's watched a ton of film and made his mind up on what needs to be fixed. Now it's Dorsey's moment to shine.

    Jenkins was at best a passable fill-in. Avery was better but he was never going to be anything special. And Lord knows we need some special talent at WR. I wish them well in their careers (so long as they don't stay in the AFC West) and thank them for the work they did for our Chiefs.

    If I'm reading this correctly cutting Avery today only left us with 500,000 in dead money so that's good
