Red face so, with zero wr td's, the chiefs went 9-7...

i think its simply time to man up, admit the roster isn't any worse going into week 1, than it was last year.

with other teams in decline, or ascending, the chiefs are in the former.

maybe its time to stop splitting hairs, accept things for what they are and simply enjoy the games they play.

    not being content, but realistic...

no reason they cannot finish with 11 wins or better this year.

They have a tough early schedule. If they come out of the first 4 games with 2 or more wins, they have a good shot at making the playoffs.

YUP....I am *cautiously* optimistic about this season but more importantly I think we are just a whisker or two away from having a Chiefs team that can DOMINATE the AFC West for many years. Dorsey-Reid-Sutton-Toub are doing a FANTASTIC JOB.

I'm still going to wait and see before saying the chiefs should win a playoff game, win the division, win more than x amount of games. O-line is still iffy, Run D wasn't that great even with DJ and DeVito in the lineup, WR core is still iffy. I've learned my lesson to get excited early for chiefs season just to be let down in the end.

Agreed! That is why I said I was *cautiously* optimistic about this year.

Same here. It is better to take a wait & see approach.

Demps.....I feel CONFIDENT we are on the right track. Just not sure we are where we need to be yet. But I truly believe we have gotten closer every year since Reid, Dorsey and company came to KC. As a Chiefs fan, what more can I honestly ask?
