    Thumbs down Hindsight's 20/20 but... justin houston...

    should have been extended last year.

    id bet the chiefs could have saved about 15 mil on overall contract.

    just sayin.

    brandon albert, i get it,

    houston, i dont.

    but im glad he is in kc for the long term.

    I agree. We could also have saved money by waiting til next year as well. He likely won't have 20+ sacks again this season. Luckily the salary cap keeps going up.

    No doubt. But ultimately the contract is fairly team-friendly--or anyway as team-friendly as a contract that size can be. So long as he stays healthy and continues to cause QBs to sweat bullets for a week before they play the Chiefs I think we'll all wind up pretty happy with this contract.
