He caught a pass for 4 yards
this brings his monster season total to 1 catch for 4 yards.
How was he our number 1 for so many years?

Why do we still care about bowe. He had some productive years here then fell on his face. Time to move on. Heck if wanted to come back as our 4th wr or 5th option for league minimum I wouldn't mine
Didn't forget.
IMO Bowe has all the talent in the world. He just doesn't give it 100% effort all that much.
I bring this up to show how far this team has come talent wise. Some felt that Alex and before that Cassel were holding Bowe back. I think it's not pretty clear that it's been Bowe holding Bowe back now.
He's not our problem now and we are FAR better off with the talent we have at the WR spot then we have for as long as I can remember. Part of the reason I've been far more critical of Alex this year then in past years.

M/c....You meant to say "now", right?
IMHO what killed Bowe's career in KC was the drops. Same for Donnie Avery, too.
Granted, I'm not a numbers guy and probably never will be, but the drops are killers in terms of yardage numbers, not to mention first downs, points, and time of possession. If you look at Phillip Rivers' numbers this year, he's already at over 2,700 yards, which is a credit to him, O-line & WR's...but now look at their drop percentage. Right now, lowest in the league.

Unfortunately NFL.com doesn't list drop statistics, if they do and someone has a link I'd love to see it. But here's the yardage stats...

Rivers might led the league in passing yards but look at how many passes he has attempted. I hope our team is ready for some passers both Rivers and Carr have over 100 QBR for the season.
