Default Next time you complain about Andy....

... beware that Eagles fans would probably take him back in a heartbeat over who they have now.

At the time of this typing,

    Lions 45 - Eagles 7

Same as Alex Smith. Look at the 49ers collapse, also.

SO RIGHT on both counts!!! Kelly completely remade the team to what he wanted and at 4-7 I'm sure Eagles fans are calling for his head. Meanwhile the 49ers are 3-7 and the QB that made Alex "expendable" is riding the pine and if you can believe rumors will be on the trade block next year.

I'm confident that we got the best coach available when we got Reid and the same applies to Alex. Neither is the best there is, but both were the best available at the end of that horrible 2012 season.

One of my best friends is a niners fan. He was no fan of Alex during his time with the niners. He loved him some Kaepernick. Now he would take Alex back and wants Kaepernick gone now.

I'm pretty sure your friend is going to get his way fairly soon.

Yes, fans can be so fickle.

Oh wait ... I started the "I hate this team" thread moments after JC fumbled away the first Broncos game.

    All is forgiven! :)

I knew that that loss to the donks was going to do FAR MORE DAMAGE than just a single loss. I had no idea it was going to lead to a 5 game skid. And I'll tell you that by the end of that 5th loss all I was hoping for was an 8-8 season. But this team has battled back into the playoff hunt and I'm DAMNED PROUD OF THEM!

We still have a very tough row to hoe if we want to make the playoffs. We still must go 5-1 in our last 6 games and with the Bills this weekend and the dreaded Raiders twice there is still a small chance we wind up at 8-8, but I think we'll kick the crap out of the Bills and DESTROY the Raiders in week 17 and clinch a wildcard with that final win. Perhaps best of all while the Lions and Chargers looked like easy wins the Lions have looked good since we beat the hell out of them in London and while the Chargers have a lousy record if you look at the games they lost they were almost all VERY CLOSE. Both teams are much better than their records. So we haven't just been beating up on patsys.

If we keep this momentum rolling this is a team that could get us that playoff win we've been waiting for for so long. That would be damned impressive after a 1-5 start.

I might add that after a 2-5 start, the Texans are tied for the AFC South lead at 5-5 and right now the Steelers are a wildcard team at 6-4 so, yes, we have beaten some pretty good teams.

Not to mention, the Chiefs should have beaten the Broncos in their first match-up and should have beaten my Bears, as well. Okay, I'll mention it!

With so much parity this year the Chiefs ARE a playoff team. Let's hope they prove it.

The niner fans I know would rather have Harbaugh back over both of them.
