I'm not looking to start a fight. We have had enough of those. But can everybody agree that if you give Alex a good O-line, a decent running game, some good tight ends and at least one pretty damned good WR then Alex can be a "pretty good" QB?

Just an interesting aside....I believe Alex currently holds the NFL record for most attempts without an INT in a single season. I *think* the two QBs ahead of him for the longest streak took 2 seasons to accomplish their record.
U also haft to remmber marty cuting Drew brees.. Then drew took saints to 1st superbowl win soo cant say marty worst lol...
Not sure if I am following, I do not remember Drew Brees as a Chief. Do inform me, and when Marty cut him.
Now to all you smart behinds, Yes letting Gannon go an keeping Grbac was, a huge mistake by the coaching staff, that was a head office and head coach bad decision.
Hey TS! Just thought you should know...That whole thing had me confused last night. Took me a while, but finally dawned on me they were talking about when Marty was coaching the Chargers.
Here is some interesting reading on the subject... http://www.boltsfromtheblue.com/2010...rgers-let-drew
#Chiefs QB Alex Smith is 280 yards shy of throwing for the most in a single-season in his career (3,313, KC, 2013). https://t.co/wdmDlVBZNC
