Alex Smith.....

I'm not looking to start a fight. We have had enough of those. But can everybody agree that if you give Alex a good O-line, a decent running game, some good tight ends and at least one pretty damned good WR then Alex can be a "pretty good" QB?

Just an interesting aside....I believe Alex currently holds the NFL record for most attempts without an INT in a single season. I *think* the two QBs ahead of him for the longest streak took 2 seasons to accomplish their record.

Marty didn't cut Drew Brees. A.J. Smith drafted Phillip Rivers, and put pressure on Marty to play him over Brees.

Now to all you smart behinds, Yes letting Gannon go an keeping Grbac was, a huge mistake by the coaching staff, that was a head office and head coach bad decision.

Kcman was referring to when Marty was coaching the Chargers.

Hey TS! Just thought you should know...That whole thing had me confused last night. Took me a while, but finally dawned on me they were talking about when Marty was coaching the Chargers.
