The Kansas City Chiefs are keeping the band together. With news in the last 24 hours that the team re-signed Tamba Hali and Derrick Johnson, it's being reported that the Chiefs have agreed to a new deal with defensive lineman Jaye Howard on a two-year contract.

This is all good news. Don't know how Dorsey and Reid are getting this done and I fear the cap implications but I'm glad they are keeping the core of the team intact. If we can just get a few more draft picks to turn out like Peters we will be sitting in tall clover.
