    Default the nfl should set policy, the franchises should implement it...

    unless ownership as a whole (is guilty, accused of) should vote for discipline.

    there needs to be a judge/jury type scenario with those whom are intimately involved.


    a good example would be the chiefs docking of draft picks for maclin interference.

    so if owners were to vote on reprimand (knowing full well they have done the same), they would have handed down a lighter sentence.

    where as if a team/player did something out of the ordinary, 32 franchises have the ability to ban for life, so to speak.

    its called democracy.

    how is it that just because you are an athlete, you have to be a slave to the system.

    I don't think all the owners want to be that involved in possibly weekly participation.

    That's why they have a commiss

    Also the players ****ed themselves giving Goodell power.


    It took the chiefs getting shafted for a lot of chiefs fans to realize Goodell was a bad commish
