Default What will we do with Eric Fisher?

I think my header says it all. Do we re-sign him? I think we should @ a semi-reasonable price. Thoughts people?

We have to resign him. Do you want to keep going through oline woes? If he has another good year it wont be cheap but id still resign him. I think its always cheaper to resig. A player then sign a free agent who is equal or better than the guy your trying to have him replace. Draft but then you keep drafting the same position over and over and neglect other positions.

I believe we dont have to worry about this for another year, as we picked up his 5th year option for 2017 to we dont have to worry about this until the end-start of 2018 season

This is true. But if we don't get a long term deal done before the 2017 season then he will cost us $11.9 million for 2017. Since 2017 looks like a very rough year cap-wise it would be much better to try to get a long term deal done before July 15 2017.

IMO the best thing to do is try to get a long term deal done by the middle of this season.

The chiefs thought different. They said sooner the better. Loooks like this thread just got answered and done with.

Exactly so! I sure as hell am not qualified to be an NFL GM...so in Reid and Dorsey I trust...unless they prove me a fool like Pissoli did.
