That seems like an awful lot of cash for Fisher--a guy who in my opinion is still developing. And of course I don't know what the going rate is for left tackles but if he improves again this year from what he did in the latter part of last year I'm thinking it may a fair deal.

This should make him the highest paid LT on a per year basis

Its 6 years 63 million basically. They just added 4 years to his existing contract. I think its about litttle over 10 per year if you divide 63 by 6. 40 mill of it is guaranteed. I think its a fair deal. And glad one less person we hae to worry about resigning. Next one should be poe. Then berry. I bet this pissed off berry but he can has some cheese with his whine. He made plenty from the chiefs and they honored their contract while he was sick so atleast he should be in camp.

That does not please me. We still need to do a new deal with Dontari Poe and our cap space is choke-to-death tight.

YUP! I don't really care how much he gets paid. Truth be told, I wish we paid them all $50 million per year. But we live in salary cap land so what I really care about is how will this deal affect our ability to sign other players (like Dontari Poe) that we really need to keep.
