YUP!!! We need to get a new contract with Sutton that doubles his pay and makes him UNABLE to leave. Sutton has done WONDERS for the Chiefs' Defense.

I love coming home from the Sports bar and reading this thread after yet another, comeback win for the Chiefs. ("But the Chiefs can't play from behind.")

17-2 in their last 19 games. ("A few lucky wins here and there. The Chiefs aren't that good.")

This one was definitely out of reach. No comeback here. Right, KCMAN?

Wrong! Maybe the Chiefs really ARE "THAT good."

At some point though it will cost us. Unless it changes. This throwing behind the line of scrimmage crap has to stop. It worked at one point in the NFL but times have changed. The offense needs an update

I agree, but in contrast throwing long and incomplete on 3rd and 6 absolutely befuddled me.

It seems that we are either throwing behind the line of scrimmage or just chucking it down field much of the time. I would love to see them do more slant patterns they are really hard to defend and give most defenses fits. It gave us fits at times today as well

TR....the truth is good teams make their own luck--even when it looks like everything is going to ship.

To win in the NFL you don't need to be great. You don't need to be good. You need to be good enough almost every week.

I don't care if we "win ugly" I just care that we win. And this game against a Panthers team that was fighting to get back in the playoff race is now in the W column. The Panthers were HIGHLY MOTIVATED but somehow we pulled it out. Thank You Marcus Peters. 20 seconds left and he wasn't looking for overtime....he was STILL looking for the win.

Lol man just the way that offense was playing i didnt think it was going to happen ....and i rly think are D IS THE REAL DEAL .. topekaroy im to old for these kind of wins lol cant we just go out there kick *** hole game?? A win is a win & I was the one carrying the "We're not that Great" banner. We need to play better folks. We cannot sustain these types of victories every week. It will catch up to us. I'm glad that our D pulled off the win, but we need balance. Bucs @ home, 2 tough away games, then a nice home field stretch. Fingers crossed.

I understand what you are saying but I don't second guess winners. Reid is 38-19 in the regular season so far. I'm just not going to second guess that. I'd like to see us do better, but I won't criticize the guy that is bringing us consistently winning records.
