First Chiefs game need help

My son and I will be attending our first Chiefs game on Thursday. I am trying to find out were I can purchase the tailgating package tickets. We will be using uber to and from the game and I am wondering if I need to purchase a parking pass. Any tips and tricks are appreciated!!

Online it is $10 cheaper ($30 instead of $40 at the gate) but if you don't mind a walk some of the places across the street from the stadium offer cheaper parking (think like $15 - $20)

If you are not "parking" I don't see why you would need a parking pass. Chiefs fans are a pretty friendly group. I'm sure if you bring a couple of pieces of meat, someone will give you a little space on their grill, and maybe even offer you a beer.

You can purchase a tailgating package from Arrowhead stadium, it is presented by Arrowhead stadium. I am using uber for transportation to and from game.

You don't need a parking pass if you aren't parking. Tailgating takes place in the parking lot. Anyone can attend and it is free because you are essentially just walking through the parking lot. Uber to the lot then enjoy your tailgating journey.
