Default bolts will move to LA

It's official: The Chargers are relocating from San Diego to Los Angeles.

Chargers owner Dean Spanos announced the decision in a letter released by the team while informing his staff about the move Thursday morning. The Chargers had until a league-mandated deadline of Tuesday to make a decision on their future.

So the Oakland Raiders left to go to LA, then went back to Oakland. The LA Rams left to go to St. Louis, after the Chicago Cardinals ditched St. Louis for Arizona, then went back to LA, and now the San Diego Chargers are going to LA, too.

LA just had two teams and lost both of them. Now they have two teams again. Is a new stadium going to make a difference? Somehow, I don't see this working out, especially when neither team is that good.

I have no faith L.A will make a thriving NFL market for 1 team let alone 2. L.A doesn't have a good track record for keeping teams long term

looks like the Raiders are making the move to Vegas

Is the NFL ready for Las Vegas? It better be.

The Raiders will file relocation papers to move from Oakland to Las Vegas, according to sources familiar with their thinking. After a year of planning, debate, and bold action, after many years of a sub-par stadium option in Oakland, the Raiders have made a firm decision on their future.

The stunning move, one that should be made official in the coming days, is expected to add a new city to the NFL's ever-changing landscape. The Raiders would need 24 votes from the league's owners to formally make the move, a vote that will come this spring.

The city of Oakland has made no progress to keep the team, sources say. It has not come up with a stadium proposal that league or independent sources believe is credible. At this point, it is only a matter of time before they officially leave.
