WOW what a day, so unless we trade into the 4th which wouldn't surprise me I'll see you in the fifth

Biggest take away from this draft so far for me regarding us is

How aggressive Dorsey has been in trading up to get guys that he wanted. They have also been clear areas of need. Which kind of goes aginst his BPA in his first couple of drafts in KC. I think this says something that he feels we are close and at the same time we are building a future with the Mahomes pick. Good things IMO

I just read that the RB that we drafted (Kareem Hunt) tallied 118 yards on 15 carries at the Senior Bowl and was named the games MVP. Small wonder Dorsey traded up to take him.

Dorsey did really switch gears this draft, so far. Have the Chiefs ever traded up twice in one draft? Really like the DE pick that we got, if he gets his hands on people, down they go. Surprised it happened this year, but QB was an upcoming need, and we have the luxury of letting Mahomes absorb Reid's playbook for a year, and Mahomes certainly has the skill set.

Really like the DE pick. Most of the highlight clips are boring simply because once the play gets to his jersey number everything stops. We need that.

I'm not 100% on the RB pick but it was a team need, and he does a great job of spinning out of trouble.
