    Default Post MNF REDSKINS

    1. Coaching. Andy Reid did not have this team as prepared for Washington as they were for us tonight. It's not something that happens alot and Andy will be better most weeks. But it was something that stood out. They were ready for the normal tricks. And that had a huge factor on them getting the 10-0 lead. Having said this Andy made adjustments and at the end of the day got the W. So you have to give him the props for that.

    2. The O line had some REALLY bad moments. This has been a common them through the first 4 games of the season. And it's going to cost them if they don't get their stuff together.Again having said that another common theme has been they get better as the game goes on. SO like Andy you have to give them props for that

    3. Alex FING SMITH. The guy has gotten so much flack in his time in KC. And yes a lot of it is justified. But tonight HE WON THAT FOOTBALL GAME. The huge scramble to get the go-ahead field goal the first time. Then hitting Wilson on that game-winning drive. Tonight he stepped up and WON THE GAME.

    4. The defense. This was not their BEST game. But they were the reason the Skins were not able to blow this game open early. Marcus Peters had a rare bad game. Getting beat on 2 tds and another long pass it was not his best effort and he will definitely have to perform better. And he can

    5. This month is a HUGE month. We are pretty much on prime team every week outside of the Steelers game. This team is going to show us just who they are. And right now they are the ONLY unbeaten team in the NFL. On to Houston who is going to be a huge challenge next week. GO CHIEFS

Alex Smith was HUGE tonight. People often say "He won't lose ball games but he won't win them for you either..." BULL POOP. Tonight he was the main reason why we won. That scramble he stretched out...Awesome. Huge play.

The O-line kinda sorta got its collective stuff together as the game went on, but if we don't develop some toughness on that line brace yourselves for watching a lot more players getting carted off. So far the best game the O-line has had was against New England.

The Defense made adjustments and did get the job done, but not until we got ourselves in a 10 point hole to start off.

Time to put the microscope on Houston and go 5-0.

Thank you. He drives us crazy sometimes but love Andy or hate him he has a habit of winning.

I'm a little queezy about our O-Line but they were "good enough"....barely IMO. But "barely" is good enough.

Thank you again. Alex is probably the most disrespected winning QB in the NFL. Anyone who reads this knows Alex is on his way out.He knows it too. But he's just doing his job and doing it damned well. Alex is the consummate professional. He just does his job to the best of his ability and his best is pretty damned good.

Yep. Miles from their best game. But good enough and sometimes all that matters is being "good enough"

We're 1 game ahead of the Broncos, 2 games ahead of the Raiders and the only undefeated team in the NFL. The next 4 games are our chance to SEIZE control of the AFC West. I don't care how we win, we just have to keep winning!

It's a great time to be a Chiefs fan!

    THIS

Houston is next week on SNF. They are going to have to get off to a much better start next week against that pass rush.

They have to get this figured out, that is not the last tough defense they'll face.

I've been saying this since he got here. Those who are long on criticism of Alex are often times short on compliments when due him. I couldn't have said it better.

I only hope they were not "Exposed" too much tonight. Good point!
