Default Turn that frown upside down

Ok, ok, we lost. We don't seem to have an amazingly reliable QB, and our filthy rich, star RB may be out for some time, but there's still more to look forward to.

We are still #1 in the AFC West.
The Broncos were beat 44 to 7 by the Detroit Lions.
Adrian Peterson ran for an NFL record 296 yards on the Chargers, on his way to a win.
The Oakland Raiders lost again...in case thats a surprise.

Even though a loss hurts, I'm thinking that right now on any of the other AFCW forums, the conversation is going to have a lot more swear words and a lot less . While we have our choice of QB's, the donks don't even know who their RB or QB will be. Neither do the raiders. We play the donks next week at home. Do you really think that they are going to beat us without a QB or RB? Of course not.

Thanks for the optimism but right now we are in the same boat, We don't know if Croyle or Huard is going to start and all respect to Priest, with LJ out and Priest not showing 100% (doesn't mean he isn't we just haven't seen it yet.) we also dont have true #1 back. I do however feel that either Croyle or Huard would do better then the backup for Denver (Patrick Ramsey) but that isn't saying much.

i agree, im not down at all after this game. All games bring out lots of emotions with us fans, but it was the freekin 7-1 packers. It is ok. That was not even close toa must-win. We are where we need to be right now. As I stated in the 3rd week of the season, whoever has the best record against afc west opponents will PROBABLY go to the playoffs.

We are 2-0. oh by the way, road wins.

I've seen Ramsey look like a very good QB a couple times, but he sure didn't in the highlights of the Detroit game. The stiff arm by their Ginormous DT on a Ramsey interception made me lol.

Just to throw the flip side out there, you guys have to go to the crummy carpetdome at the end of the season though.

The Packers go there for the Thursday Thanksgiving game. Is that nationally televised or is there some other game thats shown? I'm worried about it. Martz caused fits for the Pack over the years including a game where I think the Favremeister threw FIVE picks.

Never count them out! How bad will you feel if "they" kick our butts?

Chiefs are in first place, and there is a whiff of change in the air.

Even if we do not swap Croyle for Huard, perhaps we will get some improved coaching after this bungle.

Favre killed us deep and that will be looked at, maybe nothing will be done about it, but it will be looked at.

This situation has to change after this loss.

We had this game until the second deep one to Jennings.

Maybe HERM is still learning how to coach. Next he will be in SD and be coaching for a team that will play against us.

I think this is a big experiment for getting the Chiefs to be just good enough, but not quite good enough.

Getting pretty tired of the lousy coaching (Carl you hired them) and want to make a change.

What is sad about all this is that should things in the AFC West continue on this path the Chiefs could actually be the next team to go 8-8 and still make the playoffs. No team should make the play-offs having gone 8-8 on the season IMO.

    ...And, for post 10,000.......
