I agree with you CT. I don't think Del Rio is a bad coach. They should have given him more time.

Yeah after last year's 12-4 they were expecting a Super Bowl this year not 6-10. But they forgot that most of the Raiders wins last year very whisker close. This year they didn't win most of the close ones. But high expectations can lead to rash actions and I think that is what happened.

That is BEYOND ME. I even heard a rumor that the owner had given Jackson a vote of confidence. But that is strictly a rumor. I can't believe Dorsey would go to a team where he couldn't replace a 1-31 coach.

It's not rumor it's fact the owner has publicly stated he will be back

He'll be fine IMO. That was more than a 1-year task to turn them around. It wasn't his decision this year but he probably wouldn't have taken the job if he wouldn't have a say in coach going forward
