The Chiefs apparently feel they have found Kareem Hunt’s replacement. Coming off his first-career 100-yard game, Damien Williams signed a two-year extension with the Chiefs with a maximum value of $8.1 million, Brooke Pryor of the Kansas City Star reports. Wondering if or when these type of extension will come about for Tyreek Hill and Chris Jones.

This makes sense. We do have a talented enough RB corps to keep us competitive, giving Williams a shot at being the #1 guy next year would help free up draft picks to help out the D. If it doesn't work out, pick up an RB in the 2020 draft. If he turns into a big play threat during the playoffs, it'll be money well spent.

Agreed, but I noticed that nobody has talked about the need for another ace WR (Benjamin isn't it) and the need for a 2nd TE that is a reliable pass-catcher and reliable blocker (Harris isn't it).

For whatever reason we can never seem to get a big possession style WR, so I'm holding back my complaints in that department.

Will stick up (some) for Harris - Over the past couple of years he hasn't been the drop captain he was in '15 & '16.

Benjamin is still learning Reid's offense, but if he continues to drop the ball, we'll still be looking for another big WR.
