Kansas City Chiefs vs Indianapolis Colts is game that the Colts will be playing angry after their disappointing losses to both New England and San Diego. The Colts are without a slew of starters including stud WR Marvin Harrison and defensive leaders Dwight Freeney and Bob Sanders. The Chiefs have proven this year that they can play defense allowing only 19.2 points per game but Peyton Manning can still dissect any defense even without his top weapons. Manning still does have RB Joseph Addai who has had a great year with 981 total yards in 8 games. Kansas City will be starting a new QB with strong armed, young pocket passer Brodie Croyle in place of the ineffective and nicked up Damon Huard. Croyle is inexperienced but he is smart and a natural leader that can make all the throws.
Chiefs star RB Larry Johnson will miss second game in a row with the start going again to 34 year old Priest Holmes. One mismatch in the Chiefs favor will be T.O like WR Dwayne Bowe who could exploit an injury marred Colts secondary. One area of concern for the Colts has been their special teams play which has been awful in every area. Can Croyle be a big-time player in the NFL? Are the Colts going to pile up some points with their return home?
