Default ...hoping sellout record comes to an end

at this time, the sell out record at arrowhead stadium coming to an end under this moron of a football coach would ultimately be a huge factor in reasons that edwards should be fired.

i know, it is a nice record to hold, but all good things at some point need to come to an end.

herm has done much damage on the KC Chiefs fan base. He has shrunk it significantly. We might finally see evidence of that if the sellout record ends.

Even with the increased ad money they still would lose money buying the seats.
This I believe is a necessary step towards the demise of the Queen Carl era!

Lifting the blackout only requires 95% capacity if memory serves.
That I didn't know but heres to hoping that it starts dropping, hate to say it but boo's end up hurting players, empty stands hurt the owners. I want enough pain for things to change.

And creates a philosophy of losing which can take decades to overcome.

last year the last three home games came close to blackouts and the tv stations didnt buy up the tickets. the chiefs PR people sold packages real cheap to groups like teacher groups, police groups ect to keep them from blacking out.
i can remember what a chief super bowl team looks like! ......

Most seats are already paid for by season ticket holders. Just beause seats are empty doesn't mean they aren't paid for.

Interesting response I found elsewhere on the same topic....

In August, it was anger and outrage over Huard starting, because all Carl ever does is play for a 9-7 season so that the stadium will stay full. He had no interest in playing Brodie and going through a bad season to let him gain experience because it might result in empty seats, and we know that's all that matters to Carl.
In November, with a bad record, Brodie at QB, a rookie RB in the backfield, a rookie as our #1 WR, it's "stop going to the games". Which would send a message straight to Carl that fans have no interest in watching young players during a bad season, and will only reinforce that his annual 9-7 plan is the way to go.
You truly have to stop and take a moment to appriciate irony at this high a level. It doesn't come around that often.
    Everything happens for a reason.
