Clinton, McCain emerge as comeback winners in New Hampshire primary

WASHINGTON - Democrat Hillary Clinton pulled off an unexpected narrow victory in New Hampshire on Tuesday, dramatically rescuing her bid for the White House in a tense battle with Barack Obama.
Clinton, who's fighting to become the first woman in the Oval Office, mounted a surprisingly strong showing after bracing for a second defeat following her devastating third-place showing in Iowa.

Republican John McCain also nabbed a major comeback victory, putting him solidly back in his party's nomination race.
While Obama, vying to make history as the first black U.S. president, scored big among independents and voters between 18 and 24, Clinton attracted lower-income voters and seniors and did best among voters citing the economy as their top concern.
But a big factor for Clinton was women voters, who had gone over to Obama in large numbers in Iowa. Nearly half in New Hampshire were once again supporting her, while Obama got only a third.

I'll agree with him on that, although I would probably find fault with how he came to the conclusions.

Not a big Rush fan, as I find him a hypocrite. He has to be controversial to get ratings, but that usually leads to being very divisive.

Why do you consider him a hypocrite?

He degrades others that have the same problems he himself has, or has had.

He degrades people that are struggling to get by? I would disagree with that. He was once in that boat.

I don't particularly care for Rush, but I don't find him to be a hypocrite. As I tried to explain to "member who has been banned" a while back, I find Rush to be obnoxious, and full of bravado, but in general I find that I agree with him politically and on most social issues. He is often a blowhard/showman.

His personaly struggles with addiction have been noted both in the press and on his own show. He has openly admitted that problem. Due to some legal advice he had to limit his discussion of some of the extraneous details, but he admitted the problem with painkillers.

However to be a hypocrite as suggested I would say he'd have to demonstrate that he goes "easy" on the Republicans, and rips the "Democrats" when they commit the same infraction. However I've found that he'll routinely rip into a Republican, just as quick and hard as he will a Democrat, and sometimes harder if it is on an issue where the Republican has betrayed his constituency.
