Crap.Clinton, McCain emerge as comeback winners in New Hampshire primary
WASHINGTON - Democrat Hillary Clinton pulled off an unexpected narrow victory in New Hampshire on Tuesday, dramatically rescuing her bid for the White House in a tense battle with Barack Obama.
Clinton, who's fighting to become the first woman in the Oval Office, mounted a surprisingly strong showing after bracing for a second defeat following her devastating third-place showing in Iowa.
Republican John McCain also nabbed a major comeback victory, putting him solidly back in his party's nomination race.Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y. greets a familiar face. THE ASSOCIATED PRESS/Elise Amendola
While Obama, vying to make history as the first black U.S. president, scored big among independents and voters between 18 and 24, Clinton attracted lower-income voters and seniors and did best among voters citing the economy as their top concern.
But a big factor for Clinton was women voters, who had gone over to Obama in large numbers in Iowa. Nearly half in New Hampshire were once again supporting her, while Obama got only a third.

Anyone else hoping Mitt Romney wins, like me?
Also, has anyone ever heard of that name, Mitt, before? I was trying to think if I have and nothing came to mind. So I googled the word "Mitt" and page after page has NOTHING except Mitt Romney. Says he was born Willard Mitt Romney, so he goes by his middle name.
Oh I just looked at wikipedia and it says his middle name comes from his uncle Milton. So I guess Mitt is a nickname for Milton as Teddy is for Theodore. Heh, it says his uncle Milton was a quarterback for the Chicago Bears from 1925-1929. With a name like Mitt it would have been more apt for his uncle to be a baseball player. (Get it? Like a catcher's mitt? haw haw haw!)
Yeah I think he's definitely the best of what we have left. But alas, McCain has won 5 states to Romney's one, so far. But hopefully when some of the western states come in later, esp. California, that Romney will pull some wins.
Aww how could you let Mickey Mouse down? heh!
Yeah, that's why for the Dems I have been hoping Obama beats that liar Hillary. And I can't stand McCain. Romney seems intelligent, decent, and has been a successful businessman. I am concerned about his changing of postitions on issues probably being because he's courting the conservative vote now. He's far from perfect but, in my opinion, far more desirable than McCain.
Well I am indeed stupid, can't argue that. :)
But praise God for my good eyesight, heh!
