Crap.Clinton, McCain emerge as comeback winners in New Hampshire primary
WASHINGTON - Democrat Hillary Clinton pulled off an unexpected narrow victory in New Hampshire on Tuesday, dramatically rescuing her bid for the White House in a tense battle with Barack Obama.
Clinton, who's fighting to become the first woman in the Oval Office, mounted a surprisingly strong showing after bracing for a second defeat following her devastating third-place showing in Iowa.
Republican John McCain also nabbed a major comeback victory, putting him solidly back in his party's nomination race.Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y. greets a familiar face. THE ASSOCIATED PRESS/Elise Amendola
While Obama, vying to make history as the first black U.S. president, scored big among independents and voters between 18 and 24, Clinton attracted lower-income voters and seniors and did best among voters citing the economy as their top concern.
But a big factor for Clinton was women voters, who had gone over to Obama in large numbers in Iowa. Nearly half in New Hampshire were once again supporting her, while Obama got only a third.

HH...when the dems want to define the "rich" or "upperclass" as those who have an income over $75,000...then you don't have to have $10M in the bank to vote for the other side of the aisle. I would argue that the line for wealthy is well above that considering the inflation in the past 5 years. Gas prices, car prices, home costs, etc. have all gone up enough that especially in many coastal cities, that would barely be middle class considering the cost of living.
btw, I am basing the definition of rich on their requirements for getting the full "tax rebate"....errr HANDOUT!!!

I know what it is...the point being the powers that be have said it will go to the poor and middle class...not the rich...the cut off is at an income of $75,000....
My point is that isn't 'wealth'...

I understand you live in a much more affluent area than me, but that is still pretty well off to me.
I agree that those that make that much money are not wealthy, but they need a cut off at some point.
Not agreeing with the amount they are giving back (or even that they should be doing it in the first place, as I think it is knee jerk reaction to help the Rep's in this election), or the cut off amount either.
I told myself I was not going to post on this thread, butt damm H.H. I am blind and stupid for voting REPULICAN!! SO I WANT MY BORDERS OVER RUN, HAVE ALL MY HARD EARNED MONEY GIVEN AWAY TO PROGRAMS THAT THE GOV'T WILL RUN,(they are great at that success) AND TAX,TAX,TAX,TAX ME TO DEATH! OH WHAT A COUNTRY. AND YES I AM STILL PISSED AT SUN. RESULTS!

Mitt Romney is considered a longshot now, so it looks like come November I will be voting for some third party candidate, or writing in Len Dawson's name. :)
And Lenny isn't too old. He's the same age as McCain!
Those things you speak of are exactly what the person you voted for will allow to happen.
It just so happens that the public likes to think people in general are honest, and alas that is not the case.
The Reps are lying better than the Dems so they will probbaly be able to take the election again even with the miserable state of the union.
Democrats are weak, and Reps are lying asses.
But then again, maybe it's not over yet:
"I think there's some people who thought it was all going to be done tonight, but it's not all done tonight. We're going to keep on battling," Romney said Tuesday night. "We're going to go all the way to the convention. We're going to win this thing and we're going to go to the White House."
I sure hope his optimism pans out in the upcoming state primaries. Go Mitt Go! You're the last hope. :)
I understand Ron Paul has no chance to win (even though he is the best suited for the job) but come on man.
When are you gonna stop believing liars?
The best chance we have to regain our place in the world is (gulp) Obama.
He is the only candidate without a ton of baggage.
