Default Should Damon Huard be Croyles backup?

Not sure if I want to see him as a chief anymore, but that is my thoughts.

i never wanted him to start with. but if his contract takes a big hit to our cap, then keep him.

I agree with that and the fact that he is a career backup QB and with that he does a good job, I just hope Herm doesn't get Croyle hurt!

    ...for Trent Green??
The only reason a beer sweats around Canada is because he's decided it will be the next beer he drinks.

You aren't alone. He did an outstanding job in '06, and did as well as anyone could have hoped for this year, considering the lack of a running game, poor offensive line and a weak offensive gameplan, without his regular no.1 reciever.

I don't know how much a guy can be expected to overcome.

...haha....not sure if we could trade him...we already sent away one old and broken QB so the league is on to Herm....I dont think it would be a trade too...it would be like a "we buy your old QB" deal where we would have to PAY someone to take him off our hands...

...that may have been a little harsh....

...we probably could get an even trade for a new Paint Job on KC Wolf's 4wheeler, its about due for a new paint scheme and I think thats the best trade we will get!

Ok I have calmed down....yes I think we should keep Huard as a backup...strictly a back-up....I think that BC needs to start every game. I also believe since we are rebuilding, we might as well do a good job at it, so we want to focus our draft on the O-line and some secondary....what good is a new QB going to do you when you dont have anyone to protect him....oh ya! we learned that this season!
So before we go shopping for a new qb, lets focus on beefing up our line so THEN we can bring in another qb and this would probably influence a qb controversy, OR make BC play THAT much better....um so ya....keep Damon...final year.
