Default time for allen to go...

for real guys, Allen is now saying he won't be at offseason workouts. he doesn't plan on signing the one year contract until just before training camp. which also means he'll miss the mandatory workout in june. so, lets start the wish list for a trade for Allen. apparently, the guy wants a ginormous contract. i read somewhere that he's looking for Manning money. first, he's a defensive player, so he wont get offensive money...second, he's not THAT good of a defensive end. if we were talking about Freeney, Merriman, or Peppers, then i'd say hell yeah, give 'em the money.... But Jarred Allen???!! really now...

    so, i would like a first rd pick, or 2 2nds or a combo of 1 2nd and 2 3rds.
hell, i'd even take a player swap. maybe for a reciever...Moss maybe T.O.? nevermind... lets not open that bag of worms. but seriously, maybe a good WR or young CB that way we fulfill one of our draft needs and we could replace Allen in the draft.

we don't need this cancer on a young team. if he gets what he wants, they'll all start doing it. cut the cancer out now before it spreads.

    Yup!...

So, it is understandable to be judgemental. Also, in the L.J. case, he made a racist remark. Something to the effect of...." I could never have that kind of understanding, with a white coach." He has attacked Dick Vermiel, wich isn't a popular decision, with many of his teammates.

Sometimes, "off the field" behavior has an impact "on the field".
    ...And yup!

This is almost like beating a dead horse, Allen neds to play football on the field, not cooling his heals in the drunk tank with dui's, and LJ needs to play football on the field with his team, as a member of the team, he is going to need some blockers, and quit shooting off his mouth, and crying. While the soaps are some peoples bag, mine is football, Chief's football to be exact, and players that are unprofiable to a team, playing as a team, are expendable in my book.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I agree that Allen needs to get his sh_t together off the field so he does not affect our team...as far as LJ being a whiner...I work with a ton of winers but I still like my job and I do it very well. If peoples biggest knock on LJ is he is a whiner then I say let him whine while he runs his *** off and who cares what he says.

LJ - if whining is not a problem, then why are so many hesitant to take guys like TO. I agree with Canada, but evidentally we are in the minority. When TO was available, I said take him, tell him don't come to practice (much less team meetings), and tell him on Sundays, every play is a streak. If Green / Huard want to launch it, let 'em. if not, TO should pull double coverage every time. Imagine how much better the offense would have been with double coverage on one side of the field every play. Think there would have been more space for Gonzalez & Johnson?
You can only have one favorite team. There are no "second favorites".

You're almost there. You need 30 posts to be promoted. And yes that does count as a post.

Agreed, anyone not good for team chemistry is a distraction IMO, however, LJ does seem to do his best running with a chip on his shoulder; I just get sick of hearing about it. LOL!

The only reason a beer sweats around Canada is because he's decided it will be the next beer he drinks.

I still feel bad about my rant against people who were here before I arrived.

You guys are the ones who made the site the way it is, and I don't want to see it change!

    Thanks for having me guys!
