Default Do we keep K. Bell?

A week ago it seem like he was on his way out. Then talk of him making the move to what he used to play in PGH(outside LB that plays on the line) sounds intriguing . Do you think we should try to fit him in or let him go?

Good question; one that will be fun to speculate on. I think that regardless of the answer he is probably still on his way out.

he's staying. his cap number is too big to release. he'll be a situational DE or they might try the 3-4 defense with him in the middle. he's still a pretty good athlete. i'm not sure i'd be so quick to release him....nor Ryan Sims for that matter. we need to give him another season. he's not the impact guy a top 10 pick should've been, but we can't be that quick to throw these young athletes away.

Could he be a June 1st cut? His remaining SB would then be spread out equally over the 2007 and 2008 cap seasons.

I think Sims has had his shot and done next to nothing with it, and just needs to go. IMO

I think we could use the depth that Bell would provide us.

Agreed, but it's a lot of money either way because of the salary cap implications if we cut him.
