UPDATE MARCH 3rd - 10:53 AM
According to our source there are NOW two more teams involved in the Jared Allen sweepstakes. We've confirmed the 49ers, Eagles, Patriots and now two MORE NFL teams might be willing to part with a pair of first round draft picks for Allen. Stay tuned. I think this will be a big week for these contract negotiations.

UPDATE MARCH 3rd - 10 AM
I did confirm that Ken Harris was in the Kansas City area over the weekend. Based on a low level source he and the Chiefs brass had a short conversation but we've not confirmed that with any certainty at the moment. With Allen coming into Kansas City this weekend for the Grand Opening of his new restaurant, it's safe to say this might be the BEST and ONLY real chance for all parties to sit down in the near future.

I didn't mind too much about the Priest contract. I NEVER agreed with signing LJ. Hopefully he comes back and produces but there's no excuse for his attitude and the way he expresses that attitude through the media.
