I like the trade-thinking. However, your mock provided no youth to the O-line. No guards, nor tackles, until pick # 231. You went so far, as to take back-ups, at DE and HB at picks 74 and 101.

The youth is there on the O-line in Bender, Stallings, Niswanger and Svitek. Now will they be future starters? Maybe not, but starting talent to replace Shields and Wiegmann in 2008 can come from either free agency or the 2008 draft. Somewhere the veterans have got to step up if but one more season. The only trade that bothered me somewhat was the asking price on RB Johnson, not sure if Buffalo will part with both 3rd rounders. All the other trades are based on the trade value chart with an eye towards the other teams' draft as well.

As a Canadian living next to buffalo (who hates this b_lls more than any other pro sports frachise) the man who trades LJ to buffalo will have to deal with me. The rest of the draft would be awesome though!!

    Thank you very much.

As a Chiefs fan of 40 plus seasons, my involvement or interest has grown from just game day to a year around thing. However, the offseason with free agency along with the draft is my true hobby...but only as it relates to the Chiefs.

For the past seven seasons, I've spent countless hours reviewing material for the sole interest of being able to understand more clearly what and where the Chiefs might go as a developing team. From time to time I do enjoy sharing my "spins" with other Chiefs fans. Now, more often than not, I'll miss the mark...but generally I'm in the ballpark.

It's all for fun and free to read!
