    Chiefster,

As you are ancient, and all that, I believe that a regimen of stretching before work would help you immensely.

As a physician, I recommend a strict diet of salmon, broccoli, and bananas.

If you continue to feel pain in your joints you're old, or doing it wrong.

Strangly enough the Dr. I went to see yesterday said nothing of the sort. He examined my knee and said: "You have sprained your knee sir", then he doubled the dose of Naproxin that I was already taking.

    Naproxin, good anti-inflammatory.

    Aleve?

Isn't that the stuff that is supposed to be bad for your heart or something?

He told you to double it?

I would get a second opinion.

Ibuprofen is better for you. Not as strong but doesn't put a hole in any arteries from what I've heard.

Naproxin or Naprosyn is not Aleve. Naprosyn is a different anti-inflammatory than Ibuprofen. Some do better with Naprosyn.

You're telling me that Naproxen isn't Aleve?

You're right, my mistake. But Chiefster is probably prescribed Naproxen 500mg twice a day with food as an anti-inflammatory.
