I was just watching an interview with Adrian Peterson on ESPN and he gave himself an average grade for his rookie season and said he had some areas he needed to improve.
This kid is a beast. If he stays healthy, I see him passing Emmitt.

I like his modesty.
He had a hell of a rookie season, and if he stays healthy he should be a record setter for sure!
I think Adrian Peterson should have a great career, but he'll be hard-pressed to crack 12,000 yards, more or less the 18,355 that Smith put up. He breaks a lot of big runs, but he's only going to have 3-4 years behind the likes of Hutchinson and with T-Rich gone the big runs are going to be harder to come by. I put him at 1,300 yards and 11 TDs next season...good, but not what most are expecting.

The 49ers own my heart, but the Chiefs will always hold a better than neutral spot for giving my favorite player a place to leave with grace...
