    Every year at this time, the salary information of the newly-signed free agents begins to show up on the NFLPA’s web site. Though bonus money isn’t reported on the version of the site to which the media has instant access, the magnitude of the salaries can shed some light as to when a player might be cut or, at a minimum, asked to take less money.

    Here are the currently available numbers for the players who have inked multi-year deals, in the same order as the Super 99 free agent rankings at SportingNews.com:

    Asante Samuel, cornerback, Eagles: $645,000 (2008); $1.9 million (2009); $8.895 million (2010); $5.9 million (2011); $8.4 million (2012); $10.4 million (2013).
